I have made it a point to remind myself daily to be mindful. To act, react, interact and go about life mindfully. To speak to others mindfully, to think about my next action mindfully, to take a breath before I do anything. It has personally helped me to slow things down, put things in perspective. If you take the time to do this, it might reduce the stress in your life, too and just make you feel better overall...as a human being. After all, it is about the ride and not the destination. Right? Mindfulness is the practice of being present, being aware, being focused and intentional in everything we do in our lives, right down to the simplest and most mundane tasks and sensations.
